Typography Now

Back again with some old stuff, this was a concept poster for an exhibition called Typography Now, mainly the result of reading Neville Brody books and listening to Orbital and going through an orange phase.

Madame Butterfly

This is an old piece of work from college, hardly any of my college work has seen the light of day on the internet, as most of it is pre web. The overall concept of using ticket stub information was inspired by the work of Why Not Associates using typography with layers of block shapes cutting in and out of the type. This piece of artwork was created in paint shop pro and using illustrator for the type, all cobbled together on an old intel pentium 128 something or other, oh how times have changed!
